Why is Ultra LMS invitation-only?
Every academy is opened by our team rather than a public sign-up form. It keeps the network deliberate, and it means each academy starts properly set up — with its own address, its own data and someone who knows it.
How do I get an invitation?
Use "Request an invitation" and tell us about your academy. If it's a fit, we'll open it and email you a link to choose your password. Already invited? Open that email, set your password, then sign in here.
Which features are included?
All of them. There are no plans, tiers or add-ons: every academy gets every feature on this page from its first day.
Does Ultra LMS take a cut of course sales?
No. Each academy takes payments through its own Stripe, Razorpay or Polar account, and the money goes to it.
Which AI does the course builder use?
Yours. Add a key for OpenAI (or any OpenAI-compatible provider) or Anthropic Claude in your settings, choose the model for each task, set a monthly spending cap, and every AI feature — wizard, Studio, AI Tutor, grading, blog writer, inline editing — runs on it.
What does the AI Tutor answer from?
Only your course. It reads the lesson a learner is on and the rest of the course they can open, cites the section behind every answer, and says plainly when something isn't covered. It won't give away quiz answers or do graded work, and it replies in the learner's own language.
What does the AI Tutor cost?
Nothing extra from Ultra LMS. You switch it on per course and choose how many questions each learner gets, from 1 to 10,000. Each question runs on your academy's own AI key and counts toward the monthly cap you set.
Can an academy use its own domain?
Yes. Every academy starts on a subdomain and can connect a domain of its own at any time; the SSL certificate is issued automatically.
Where are videos and files kept?
In private storage, with each academy's files kept apart from every other academy's. Uploads go straight from your browser — large videos in parts that pick up where they left off — and learners stream through links made for them alone, which expire within hours. There are no bandwidth charges for your learners' views.
How large can uploads be?
Up to 500 MB a file to start with, and up to 2,000 MB if your academy needs it. Video, audio, PDFs, slides, documents and images all live in one media library with folders, search and a list of everywhere each file is used.
I'm a learner. Do I need an invitation?
No. Invitations are only for the teams who run academies. Go to your academy's own website and create your account there — each academy has its own sign-in.
